I still love the idea that the most popular PSP website is all about pirating games.
Great money-making sceme sony!

I think that the last thing that would happen is CC going to PSP legally. Think of how many independent, open beta, freeware games go from a local cult-hit game to an actual console game...
...
...
Alien Hominid...
...
That's all I could think of.
My point is, is that the only way CC is going to PSP is by homebrew. And ppl have already solved it. Get a PC emulator for your PSP and load up CC on it. Done.
And the only place that CC will go mainstream will probably only be on XBox-Live Arcade, and that hasn't even been discussed by Data.

Yeah, They wouldn't make A CC for PSP. You'd have to Homebrew it. And I highly doubt that they would prosecute with data. Well... I wish it would work. you can upload mods to The PSP and just play it
And Wtf? I'm a Jack-ass? I'm just saying, I wasn't saying anything bad about him, I just disagreed

How about you be the one to port CC to the PSP? Don't forget to distribute the files in WORKING ORDER and provide a downgrader that everybody can use with the latest firmware patch. wow, a tiny necro, but what ev
and fyi, up to 3.03 can be downgraded and there's millions of sites that host the files....
and if CC is written in C [the coding language] it'll make it all that much easier, being homebrew is written in C or LUA [and i think there are some apps written in C++]

I'm almost certain that CC is programmed in C++ with extra stuff to handle sounds, math, daya management

there's libraries for the PSP that can handle .ogg, and it can already handle .wav

In short, it depends how abitious Data feels when he's done with development. He COULD do it if he really wanted to, but would he? I would love to see the game made official for PSP, without it being bought off by some company in the process, but I don't know if that will ever happen. I doubt Data is going to want to sell rights to the game, so it most likely won't happen that way.
I vote; wait and see (and cross your fingers).

Meh. PSP fails. Period. If CC goes onto PSP it will be the worst piece of crap ever to grace the worst system ever to grace hand-held systems.

So if CC goes to PSP, CC becomes crap? That's a bit unfair...
If you don't like PSP, you can go play something else, but since you don't play or like PSP, you have no right to say whether the people that do should be able to play Cortex Command on it. I'm not talking about CC coming out ONLY for PSP. That would definately be a bad move, but if it came out for PSP after it was already out for PC, it wouldn't be bad.
Of course, an Xbox port is more likely since it would already (at least mostly) support the programming the game is written in.
Regardless of what system, I think that a console port of this game would be pretty cool.

So the only handheld system to ever actually give nintendo a run for its money and made solid sales fails? Oh!! But no!! You forgot how awesome those 2" by 2" 64-bit screens on the DS are! Oh yes, they are LEAGUES better then the PSP's High Definetion Wide Screen is. What's that? You can TOUCH THINGS?? OH MAN!!!! That's beats PSP's solid line of games any day!!! Oh yeah!! As if gimmicks aren't bad at all!!! Oh yes, and the fact that the PSP can play music, play movies, view slideshows, and browse the internet is just plain awful!!! Why would you want a PSP when you can chat with your friends that are 100 feet away? Hell, just go over and FRIKKIN' TALK TO THEM!!!! I don't mind when you say that DS is better than PSP and you have some solid reasons. When you say that PSP is crap, then you're just an uninformed, ignorant, moron. Oh, and have you in fact ever played a PSP for more than 5 minutes? Posted after 1 minute 23 seconds:3 solid wrote: CC? For console? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Wait... You were serious? ... Oh right... 2.
So, I do totally think that if CC goes to 360 it will have to de over XBox live arcade. Ther is NO WAY that CC will be a disc game...

Quoted for agreement
Oh btw you said you can chat to people 100feet away, your wrong, On your PSP open the browser and type eBuddy.com that is a website that acts like MSN Or Yahoo messanger SO technically you cna talk to people from all over the world with the PSP

Oh well... ya know the demos you can download from http://www.mypsp.com well you could turn CC into something like those (a file not a disc) the only disadvantage would be it would take up alot of mem and you would need a 1-2 gig card...also the AI would need to be toned down or not as many AI caracters because the PSP's 3.3Mz Processor wouldnt be able ot handle it and probably crash XD

Lol. I meant that you can chat on the DS from only a couple hundred feet away.
I was saying that if you had a DS and were chatting, it would be better to walk to them. I guess I didn't clarify that.
EDIT- Isn't it call picchat or something?

I just think that a psp CC would be just unnecessary.
Why is everyone jumping at the ds?
Wouldn't it be a better game on the ds?
Seriously, think about it.
We aren't into CC because of it's graphics or anything like that.
---
Just to clarify
1)Psp isn't giving nintendo a run for thier money. Sony has enough cash to keep it alive as a doorstop as they call it.
I would just shutdown psp production and focus energy on their current consle. Of course, ten years from now I could be eating my words but w/e.
