Ok, I know how to take screenshots but I was wondering how to take movies. If someone could help me I hould appreciate it.

Anyways there is a few ways of takeing vids first you could hold down the screenshot button and put the images ito a gif animation or you could get a recorder to record an avi video file with sound and stuff. There is a gif tut in the art section.

I use Camtasia Studio 8, doesn't lag and you can save the recordings as GIFs.
Then I crop and such with ImageReady.

Cracked version of fraps works quite well for legitimate movies, not animated gifs.

I usually just make AVI's by holding print screen to make lots of pics and then as default in windows movie maker set the frame rate to the highest there is and well you know how to do it

hold prnt screen then open your first pic in gimp. Then in the picture press CTRL+ALT+O and press down then enter. Repeat till youve got to your last image then click save. The choose gif, it will ask you to merge or save as a animation. Click animation and voila.
