Then dont use vista. problem solved.

Nah, that was mean. dont worry, my friend has vista and it runs for him... maybe muck around in the colour settings or something. CC uses a very, very, VERY outdated colour pallete. so there's no reason why it shouldnt work.

I have Vista and it works great.
Try going into options for the shortcut, compability, and then check "run in 256 colours".

Try lowering the color depth and see if that fixes the problem.

It's got a great library so far, but considering its failure rate, I'd say that they probably rushed the design a bit.
It's not Bill Gates' decision though, he's not even in charge of Microsoft any more.

I can use vista fine. What mine does is turn it to "256 colors windows basic" on it's own. Maybe you turned that feature off.

It runs great on Vista. I installed Vista in friday, then installed CC and CC RUNS TWICE FASTER!!! I'm seriously, I have 1Gb RAM and 2.2Hz Processor and it runs twice faster. But sometimes happens something strange.... CC crashes without all that stuff what it says when it crashes normally :P . And I see no reason for crash..

My computer can run cc laglessly... that mod called map whipe... I could run that one that was "extreme mapwhipe" or whatever the biggest was with still having a decent fps.
