CPU and system fan
Both components stutdown after
the computer goes into sleep
mode and wakes up.
What's that about?
(BIOS/CMOS related I guess)

The quick dirty fix would be to not allow it to go into sleep mode. Are you on a mac because on windows it's called standby.

It depends
Sleep and Standby can mean different things
I think
One is more off than tother

Sleep is what happens when you leave your computer alone for like 20 hours, standby is accessed from the start -> turn off computer menu.

On your desktop> rightclick propteies> screensaver tab> power > and here you can change these things.... from never gong to sandby or w.e
