It was a good idea to have them made, lets people make there mods in there own little area. But over time things been getting out of hand. I would really like to make these forums work, but right now it just doest seam theres any good from them right now. the good people at making mods hide away in there subforum's and people who are new don't know what to do.

Tonight (6 hours) I will be Locking the sub forums of the corporations. and i will wait a day for messages to come. any posts that you want hidden or deleted i want to know. after the day, i will be opening the sub forums to everyone. then after another day. the sub forums will be removed.

I wish the first idea worked. but ever since the corp idea with subforums started. its been nothing but a pain in the ass. Maybe when phpbbRC1 comes out (of that should be very soon. ) This idea will maybe start again.

As for those who are worried about there posts. what ever area has the most posts.. will stay. and once all this stuff is done, will be unlocked.

Woah woah woah. I can understand deleting some corps for inactivity, but EL and BNSC are both quite active. At LEAST keep them.

And SOW is fairly active too.

Hey man! Come on! The corp forums are a great idea!
I can get my ideas out to a select few for review and inspiration, without having about 50 million stupid comments from the random user! Many of us have been churning out bigger and better mods thanks to the corps, and the ability to talk to some of the best modders on the forum and get their opinion is a great + for modders like me. I vote we keep the corps! I see no harm in them!

EL is one of the biggest and succesful corps there is! You HAVE to at least keep it, its out of the question otherwise!

Im rebuilding, yes, but im not gonna quit EL... Ill be "observing" MDC, ill have somebody else do the important stuff, plx dont kick me from EL :/

I know this will probably sound elitist, but perhaps there's a subforum where mods/admins can choose a select few "professional" modders, for them to discuss and cooperate and soak in good intelligence by themselves. Like the Mod Making forum, but without whiny people.

Then again, someone would have to choose who the "good" modders are, and it could get ugly very fast.


Also, BNSC isn't all that inactive from what I see...

I want to clean them up. But i guess deleting them , you guys dont really like. So heres what i can do. i would like it if we could combine the 2-3 least inactive areas to one. If able. i would like it to have a "global corp mod" It looks bad when you got all the green usernames in the botem but they cant do anything else in the rest of the forums.

So if its possable, to elect 2-3 people who will be a global corp mod. who will have access to the whole corp fourms. and any thing you need deleted/locked. they can do it.

That sounds... Like a pretty good idea...imo...

It was the original idea, but no one wanted spies. However, we'll elect trustworthy ones.
