Post Ok, Seriously, How do you play?
This game looks really sweet but I have no idea how to play.

First, I generally play like this, I open my shop, buy a few robots and ak-47s, then drop it beside my base. While I am trying to spread the AK-47's around the robots, the enemies come and just rape all my guys who stand around doing nothing while I control one.

So... How do you mine gold? How do you make the units do stuff without you telling them what to do? Just how do you play in general...

Use the digger tools to mine gold while defending your brain. When you hit the gold with a digger, the gold will hit your character and you will hear a "poing" sound.

If you're lucky, your allies will turn on their smarts when an enemy comes close and shoot them automatically. Do not rely on this, as it never happens.

Well first, you edit the inis so that everything is free or costs a negative amount. Then you download an overpowered mod. And raep away.

But that's no fun... Unless we can create the more improved A.I!

Yeah, just do that.

A really nice scene you can download is called invasion. Go search it at the Scenes section. You start out with 6 people. But you have to cycle through them to make them "come alive", which puts them into auto defense.

Hehe, That's no fun at all. As much as i'd love to make everything free, it's too hard knowing that it'd make portion of the game obsolete and ruin the fun. You are probably joking though.

If you've ever heard and played a game called "Clonk Endeavour" it's sort of like that but better than it, not that this helps at all. Once you set youself up a good configuration and work out how the game works and where you should put convenient controls (or just learn the defaults), sort of like "Worms (2d Ones)" you'll learn to get along with it just fine.

It all takes time at the end of the day, but it's worth it.

I have CE. Us guys in IRC used to play it a lot. Jay used to host a server and we'd all connect.

Yes, I was joking. But it's a good idea to do that if you just plan on messing around with mods etc.

I hate mining, personally, since your base defenses are weeeaaakkk, so I just have a -10k "gun" and blast away at the silly AI.

It's true, it's not fun at all, but when you seriously play enough with default settings on the game it gets really boring. I almost quit at one time just because I didn't want to change money values.

After I got mentally glad for the free stuff it started being maddness and crazy fun.

But yeah - It's still very fun to play without money cheats or anything, but when you play enough, it gets old. I'm hoping the new version will fix this and bring new enjoyment to the default settings. :)
