#lonelyden is an IRC that a lot of DRLers use, but don't confuse it for a Datarealms IRC.

#lonelyden's name came from Lonely Hearts Bar, consists mostly of people from this forum, and was spawned by a community of people who frequent this forum. There is no other IRC channel even close to having those qualifications. #lonelyden is definitely the drl irc, almost entirely by default and probably against the will of a few people.

The unofficial official DRL IRC I guess is the best title. If Dan ever puts up the official official IRC server or designates a channel on some network as the official official IRC channel, we'd return to being some offshoot (still with a bunch of DRL people).
