-I know the AI isn't finished but I would like to see it hunt down the enemy brain when it is defending. On that note: how exactly are you going to protect your brain when you attack a site? If the enemy is on the ball they can get enough troops on top of your brain before you can order much reinforcements.

Yeah... right now I'm in a game that I have all the sites expect for one, and the AI has built up the base on that site so much that I cant get to it at all. What I end up attempting to do is dig down with the brain as fast as possible and create a mini-dirt cave where I can hide away. But considering all the gold I am currently in possession of I feel like I should be able to carpet bomb the map or something before the battle starts for like maybe 10000 or so just to get rid of the surface troops and give me enough time to set up a safe haven for my brain.

or drop in with a mini base or something, making it rather expensive. or maybe make it possible to choose the load out of our brain. or maybe have multiple troops come with the brain. really im just throwing out ideas here because of this one base stopping me from taking over the entire planets.

or we teach the ai, to bomb us with rockets filled with bombs. (because i use this technique so often now that i have so much gold)

I definitely would like to see some of way calling in temporary base stuff. Just to set up a minor beach head. And about the carpet bombing you mentioned that might become a necessity. As it stands its much too easy to win the game by simply strategically placing anti-air towers across the site so that the undefended brain transport never even gets to land. Being able to first call in a big bomb would be nice: drop a bomb, clear one of the towers, set up a temporary base, then attack the main bunker from there. Would be epic.

I have to agree with most of you that B27 with the metagame is a huge leap up.

My beef is the contested zones with multiple AI drops. 4 out of 5 situations have left me dropping in with 2 other dropships right on top of me. This tends to lead to a nasty collision right off the bat with unexpected results...or the AI lands first and insta-drops reinforcements before my brain has landed and is usable to order my own troops.

I would like manual control of the brain dropship in order to avoid pile-ups and to navigate further away from a fast fail. I feel the A.I. overall is not smart tactically, but makes up for it in purchasing and general aim.

Again, big fist pump for the metagame and all the work at polishing the game!

You can manually control dropships with Q as they come in.
