The smilie rule is fine, and like I said, with my rule you won't need compromises. Therefore not compromise is needed. You'll know what my rule is if it's implemented.

I don't have any problems checking my grammar and spelling. The emoticons are fine for me, and I'm pretty sure that rules is there because of smiley spammers. The mods have got tired of deleting those posts because they don't make any sense, and I understand it. I do not have anything to complain about these rules, because it's Data who has approved them, and since this is his forum, I obey his rules. Thank you!

I neither have any complaint's about the smiley thing. I only use them to express how my mood is stationed in some situations, and to make the other people not think that I'm angry when I say something a bit more harsh.

Now to the topic : The invisible shield could be probarly made. You know. If you just draw the outline of the shield, and leave the rest of the shield pink. It could work, but I haven't got the patience to try it out right now.

Why don't you just tell us your rule?

Oh... right... on-topic... invisible... riiiiiight...

Wait, does it count as off-topic if the author of the topic also gets off-topic?

Kokits, what a silly question. Of course it's still off topic. I tried to change the subject back to the shield.

Yes, Lets all try to get back on topic now

Anyways could you draw the shield outline as said in the above post but make the outline blue so it would blend in with the background?

Just makin' sure. Sometimes the author tries to change the topic on purpose. Also, the mods should have a second account made just for participating in a user way in the forums. It's kinda wierd having a mod punishing people and then see them critiquing mods and acting all friendly and stuff.

Well I don't think it would be a good idea, since the mods still probarly want their own unique nick and stuff. It's their job, and they are saying the same things they think about mods than a non - moderator person would say. I don't really think that even though they are Moderators, they would start acting like total punishers and strict people. :)

To Master Pimp : That could work out, but when you're inside the bunker, then the blue outline would be seen, and it would blend out from the clouds, too. This is basically impossible, but it could work out just simply leaving the fill of the shield to pink.

:o Have you looked at the rules...?

Why would you even want an invisible shield? It doesn't a whole lot of sense...

maybe we could add some code:

Isobjectinvisible = 1

Actually, we Mods as a whole made the rules. The Punisher posted them. Also, one account is good. Would you rather have me all Moderator, or half mod and half friendly, helpful user? :P

Haha. Yes I have looked at the rules, and I wansn't referring to the punisher when I said that phrase. I just couldn't think of any other word that time.

That variable sounds good. It would also be nice if the AI wouldn't notice if you would have like for example, a invisible gun or invisible shield.

The AI doesn't care what you're holding. You could be holding a flipping rocket launcher, and they will still try and kill you with a pistol  .

But I do see what you mean. When AI gets better, maybe they could also learn to retreat when they are getting wounded, that would be awesome!

That would be super sweet. And maybe you could buy stealth bots that cannot be seen and then you can sneak up to the enemy's brain and just own the enemy.

OOH! OOH! Fog of war! Your units can only see enemies in their field of view.

You could have miners that dig underground, but the enemy can't see them because they have dirt blocking the FoV of the miner. Then the miner could have some sort of special device that lets them see above ground. Then, once they know where the enemy is, thaey can dig underneath them and blast them with a heavy digger :ccevil: .

Anyways, that's my two cents.

I've though about that, but it would be hard having a field of vision and still having the screen look good. So it probably will never be implimented.
