Yeah that works most of the time, Though... My firend did make a bot smart enough to read them... Most of the time
He "borrowed" to technology in the program Omni Page to do it...

If i take 1 drop pod and give it 5000 velocity on the Y axis and 0 on the X what do i get?

Well its true, Drop Pod spawns right above brain...
If you make it go straight down REALLY fast it breaks right through the bunker and thus killing your brain. Though sometimes it survives with 20hp and its wedged right down the bototm of the map in the dark brown rock...
