The Cortex Command Pallete pisses me off SO, SO much
Alas, it has just raped ANOTHER piece of art I made. This one took about an hour or so, I put it in Cortex Command for my title page background, and lo and behold, it looks like it was taken out of a 16 color GIF image.

Tip: Make your images in CC pallet rather than making them in 24bit then converting them

The CC pallet is very limited. It almost limits your imagination because you can't do crap.
With the normal pallet, I can work fine, than worry about the pallet later on.

CC Palette is ok but, it lacks tones of green purple and red, the rest seem to be fine

Y'know, his pretty picture gave me an thought.
How hard would it be to make an spacecraft combat mod for CC. No ground units, JUST PLANEZ! Think of something like Cosmic Rift, only for CC. I think that would be kinda neat, actually.
I have no idea how it would be implemented, but imo it has a lot of potential. You have one ship carrying a brain (and you must destroy this ship) and you can buy other smaller fighter craft to defend and attack.
Sure, it would be hella linear, because you can't really add stuff, but the whole side-scrolling space-shooter angle would be neat.
Right? RIGHT?! <3

Ummm, im pretty sure someone suggested this, everybody was like 'Wow' and 'OMFG' but it went nowhere, it was forgotten after a week

I suggested that a while ago. Everyone dropped the subject because it's pretty hard to do right now.

I put the space combat thing into action here, but I'm not sure if it works in the most recent build. Someone can update it if they wanted.
It at least proves that it's possible.

Hmm...
It's not so bad when I convert it.
PSP seems to be pretty good at matching colors up.

The pallette tends to kill anything blurred for me. Like the supernova-blur-smudge-whatever effect used on the white part.
