Is there a way to set max FPS? It's hard to survive at 200/250 FPS. I like to have enough time to dodge incoming dropships. I'm just trying the new version, so I haven't tried anything very intensive yet. I'm sure I lag just like everyone else under the right conditions.

When in game, hold the "1" button. You should see the deltatime go down, thus reducing the speed.

Ah, thank you. I tried to search the forums for the command to do that, but my search-fu was not strong enough. Is there a place for me to set the default timescale? Or should I just look at the deltatime when the speed is comfortable and change the deltatime settings.ini?

Theoretically it should stay like that, but if not do the second thing you said.

It resets every time I press Ctr-R to reset the scenario. I'll try exiting the scenario afterward to see if it will save the setting.
EDIT: It didn't work - timescale reset to 1.00. Also, deltatime doesn't actually change when I press 1 or 2, so my idea won't work. Any help?

I'm sorry, but what kind of a Jesus-beast do you have running this thing? I've got an I-7, and I usually max out at 70 on the usual medium map.

Also, for some reason, Jesus-beast is correct spelling, according to Google chrome.

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad-Core
NVIDIA GeForce 9100
8GB RAM
64-bit

I'm running Build 24.

Also, Chrome, like Firefox, probably treats a hyphen the same as a space for spell-check purposes.

I've got the same processor, and the game ran way too fast for me, too. I did some playing with DeltaTime (and, as I recall, RealToSimCap) in Base.rte/Settings.ini, and that fixed it. Then, one day, it was no longer a problem. Still not sure why.
