Is instalation compulsory?
Hi there, I'd just like to ask, whether there is/will be a possibility to download the game in zip format, that is a version that doesn't have to be installed?
It's just that don't really like having to install small freeware games... No offense intended though, the game itself looks absolutely amazing!

Quote: Cortex Command - Rar Version - By The Punisher Make a folder name it Cortex Command, inside make a new folder name it base.rte. Paste Cortex Command.rar into the Cortex Command folder, Paste base.rte part1.rar and base.rte part2.rar into base.rte, now you can download the music pack and paste it in Cortex Command main folder for music, you dont need the music pack! Music Pack for CC - Rar version
Make a new folder, name it Music. Paste Music.rar inside the Music folder. There will be one song missing, sorry but it took to much time. Gonna upload tommorow!

Thanks a lot, guys! The game is brilliant. hope it'll be finished someday soon. Not that it wouldn't kick ass as it is but... you know, there's always something one can add
Reminds of Liero quite strongly and that's definetely a good thing!

It's not that I would find it time consuming. I just prefer not to mess up my my registry and Start Menu any more as it contains way too much junk already. And I really don't think that a tiny freeware game needs an installer that badly.
Plus I find plain unzipping much more comfortable

I agree 90% (exe makes it look more professional) too many things in your registry slows your PC down, Microsoft should never have invented the registery, it's just a mess.
