Post Just a small rant.
I wasn't feeling too well about posting this in the Mods section or whatnot, so here is my silly little rant:
:x
FOR GOD'S SAKE, PEOPLE, CONVERT YOUR DAMN BMPs into JPG or PNG!
:x

Even PAINTBRUSH can convert BMP into JPG nowadays, let alone wonderful free programs like IrfanView. A suggestion to Data: Block any attempts to upload attachments in BMP format.

Thank you for your time and sorry for the blatant overuse of emphasizing elements such as emoticons and font size/color.

i think he only means for the screenshots. we have to use .bmps for modding, but I think when people post screenshots of their 'victory', they should compress the image jpg/png. bmp is over kill for that.

ooo is that the bg2142 smg for me? :D

Most people tend to upload just their TestDump****.bmp files when showing off a mod or a map. For modding, yeah, a small BMP file that contains a sprite should be fine, I take back what I said about blocking ALL bmp files. However, the fact still stands, people need to learn how to convert things to an appropriate format.
