Underground map.
I don't know where to post this (not in scenes, it'll get locked by punisher prolly), but I have an idea for a new map: one entirely underground. To order stuff, there would be one "shaft" going down to each base. This would make it more fair on two player, since you couldn't just keep launching nukes onto their base (although that can be pretty fun). The background should/ could be an extended dirt mat, because the sky would be unrealistic. Any comments?

I wanted a map like this for my ultra digger.
Just to dig many many tunnels.

I'll do it.
I had this idea a while ago. I'll probably put a REALLY thick wall in the middle, so that people HAVE to dig.

Yeah, a really thick wall, or an "abandoned" tunnel connecting the bases, with dirt filled in.

ummm... how will the enemy dropships get underground and how the fudge will they walk through the tunnels? They'll just go straight for the brain, so they're probably just going to walk into a wall the whole time.

Good job posting it here! And a underground base would be awsome.
If I get time I can try to make one..

Woah, some people actually wanting to work on something. We should have a race to commemorate this moment.

Since you are a mod, not really. Power corrupts people, it's a natural process. I understand, and you can be sure you have my condolences.
(I feel like I'm playing with an armed grenade here... Hey, that's a good idea for a sig:
"Messing with a mod is like swallowing a bomb and hoping it's a dud." Brrr. I feel the shadow of the ban hammer above me.)
Back on topic, are you talking about a map that's completely filled with dirt? If so, ordering things would be a problem... but if you make a big tunnel that connects to the top from each base, it might work. And it might add an extra objective to the game - protecting your supply line.

Yeah, in the first post I said that each base would have a shaft leading down to a "cargo bay area", basically a rectangular room where you can unload. The shaft should be big enough to fit a regular dropship down.

Oh. I need to read things more carefully. I guess that's why those people in black suits took my car after i signed that contract to get a hamburger.

I definitely would... if i knew how. I tried making a map once, ended up having to reinstall CC altogether. Good idea for when the map editor comes out!!!
