Ah shoot, my bandwidth is exceeded. I'll have to lower it.

Anyways, yeah, lua seems like the best solution.

EDIT: I removed a bunch of old images taking up bandwidth on my posts across the internet. The images and gifs in this thread should be visible again soon, sorry for the inconvenience.

With all due respect; screw LFoW.

Mod however/whatever you want, make shiny ♥♥♥♥, if you can do it better, do it better. There is no original code/artwork anyways.

*Internet high-five*
LoFW, quit being such a ♥♥♥♥♥.

For one, Foogooman, I'd like to thank you for being mature about this and being willing to go the extra mile to ensure it's as unique as possible.

Maximdude, same applies to you.

Also, official G.R.I.F seal of approval on the sideways fist; people are just retarded so screw them.

Thanks Grif. :D

@ Foogooman
Can't say that i'm running on my 'last can of enthusiasm', but I do find this quite tiering.
I'm not gonna abandon or anything though.

Just one thing; i'm gonna leave limb animating to you because I really suck doing it.

I feel the same way about LFOW, just trying to be professional about it though. I may think he's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ guzzling ♥♥♥♥ breading ♥♥♥♥-♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... but I would never say so!

Glad to hear you won't quit on me though :P

It doesn't seem like there is all that much more to sprite for the Punisher. I'll need to get some weapon sprites form somewhere... I might be able to do them myself though, if you don't want to. I don't want to pressure you, but of course you'd be the best source to get weapon sprites from. I am very grateful for all the work you've done already, so I hate to ask for even more.

So yeah, up to you, but don't feel bad if you don't want to do it. You've done a lot already :D

He politely asked you twice to not distribute his sprites, I think that's a reasonable request. I would be a bit miffed too if I asked someone not to distribute a mod*, then two weeks after I last logged he came in and tried to post it anyway.

@Kelas: His IP is in the US, where we have automatic copyright.

*this won't happen due to the licenses I put on my stuff but w/e

Thar we go.

Image

I'm pretty much done with the actor now.
The fist is pretty big, so, I scaled it down abit (Not on the weapons though...).
Aaaand, dump the pump shotgun and replace it with an auto.

I'll have to leave limb animating to you because I suck doing it and will probably crap everything up.

If you want the other weapons done, i need something to base them off, like descriptions/other sprites/concept/whatever.

Edit:

Oh, totally forgot.
Once the limb animations are ready you/I will darken them in PS for BG limbs.

Well, I best start rotating! Thanks Maxim :D

I'll still need weapons though, so if anyone is interested please say so or send a PM. Otherwise I'll do it myself, but I'm not sure how well I can do it.

You mean me quoting Maxim or others quoting me?

I removed enough images all across the internet, so my bandwidth should be fixed within the next few hours. It looksl ike photobucket updates the bandwidth limit every 24 hours or so.

Fourthing the motion, disrespect of copyright laws is almost as bad as acting against them. LFOW made it himself and his decisions on whether or not he wants to distribute are final.

Post Re: I'd like permission to release an old work of mine.
For those slandering me here childishly, I'd like to point out that this thread wouldn't even exist if my original wishes had been respected properly. I quite plainly put such in a -PRIVATE- message in an effort to keep it discreet and save either party from exactly these kind of pointless insults.

I only posted here because it was obvious the theft of my work was going to continue without a reinforced and public judgment. Frankly I find it quite absurd to ♥♥♥♥♥ at me about it. I respect other people's work, don't steal it or even use it without permission, and I feel such respects should go without saying in any modding community, this one being no exception.

Back to further proper discussion of the topic and not of my "ass-hattery", I approve of the current renditions that I can see (Non-Photobucket-bandwidth killed images), and look forward to a long overdue completed product.

Fifthing. Congratulations Kelas, you've now been voted off the island. Seriously, noone here is a douche enough to try and usurp someones work, AFTER they had said no, and call it their own.
