   |   Invasion Redux - Newly updated for 1.0antila wrote: Setting:A lonely base on a strategic beach that you have to hold until reinforcements arrive, or until you die. (There's no reinforcements, haha).

 Map features:
Tank traps! What better protection against tanks are there? What, the enemy don't have tanks? Oh well...
There's no gold to mine, so survive as long as possible. - Added a bit of gold.
New sky. The battle takes place at dawn, so the sky is alot darker.

uberhen (made bunker 11 pixels wider on each level, made map 500 pixels longer on each side, changed starting actors, new sand texture)
eddevilish converted this map to work with 1.0

Yeah, this would make a fun mission. Such a classic, I played this map more than any back when new maps were hard to come by.

I planned to add Lua-controlled spawns and make this a mission, but I kind of lost interest and decided to release it before I forgot about it. In its current state, it's just a regular skirmish map w/ bunker placement, but if anyone wants to whip up a script, I'll be happy to add it to the first post.

   |   Re: Invasion Redux - B23Because it existed, but it was a different scene. I believe it was a WWII scene, and I'll go looking for it in my 9 build folders.
EDIT: Yep, found and ported. If you want it I'll post it as its own thread.

   |   Invasion Redux - now also for B27I don't think Überhen is around anymore so I made a quick conversion (surprisingly annoying to get all the details right).
