Post Looking for someone to sprite a giant coalition robot.
Anyone interested? It'll be amazing. I have most of the code done, I just need some good sprites.

UPDATE:

Alright, well here's the deal. I don't have any concept art, but I have created some in game sprites to work as a base for the robot.

Basically I just took all the coalition soldier sprites and made them bigger... but I think it works as a good base. So, if you'd like I could send you all the the sprites I enlarged to the size I want. For the most part they work well, but they need more detail. Anyways, if anyone is interested PM me and I will send you the RTE folder which of course includes the sprites. All you have to do is add detail to the larger versions of the soldier sprites and make it looks robot-y and coalition-y.

I would like to see what you have in mind too, see if we have the same impression on a coalition killing machine.

I heard that you're just taking LFOW's Dummy bot and adding crap to it.

No sprite for you.

Come up with something original and give me a call.

Sounds legit to me. It's called derivative works. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

It's not like he has a monopoly on giant robots all of a sudden. I even want to have my robot have rocket fists, so what? Mine will be different, different mechanics, looks, and effects. I hope you reconsider.

You can hear the negative connotation in his pm. :/

Ehh, I dunno.

Show me the concept art.

I guess I'll still do it.

Indeed, nobody has a monopoly on giant robots. They. Are. Everywhere.
In essence every mod is copying somebody in some way anyhow.

Back to the topic at hand, I think it would be good Foogoo if you could at least provide a rough concept art or sketch or even a detailed description of the features you would like in your giant robot.

I have not released a mod nor sprited anything to date that I haven't put to paper first.

Wrongo.

Numgun has 2, amrobotics A-5 counts, I have one, you have one, Shook has one. I think that's about it.

Ah, right. Forgot those.

So, they are in fact, NOT everywhere.

Alright I'm done.

I was going to do a Gundam 00 mod with the four original Gundams and the Thrones, but my spriter got lazy after the first one.
So that would bump up the count 7 more.

Right, moving on.

Try slapping gibs together like LFOW originally did, then prettying them up. It works rather well for getting the feel of Vanilla CC into a mod.
