Agreed. I just replaced all the sounds with sounds I made myself. I then lost them, so I just made it soundless.

I don't really think AAL is overpowered at all anymore.
DSTech however...

Ok maybe the fact that a few of the units can regenerate, but for sentries, that aren't mobile, I think that's pretty damn fair.

The regen ability compensates for the fact that you can easily pick off most of the humanoid units with a few headshots. (Eg, I was pinned down by an enemy Slayer and fired off three headshots from UniTec Deagle and killed it.)

Though the Novastar and thermal grid system are quite powerful, they're expensive to compensate.
Most of the DSTech stuff hasn't been priced according to power...

I was thinking something much different than a change of colour scheme.

The AAL units are mostly bulky, well armoured and pretty slow, as well as very high tech.
Something organic, or maybe just more streamlined machines, would be a nice change. And I can't just get any modder to do it because few of them are Numgun standard.
