Post Stomp Stomp, dummy minimod!
Hi all, the internet is here, again, and I have it.

So, time to share some of the scribbles I did while I was in an internet drought. Notably, I made a stubby bulldozer tank man for the dummies. There's also two extra weapons in this mod.

It currently replaces current content (because I don't know how having two mods with the same in game title and moduleicon will behave.) I recommend temporarily deleting the '.rte' extension from the original dummy.rte if you install this mod.

It's still misisng some important parts (gibbing is only partially done, the actual interior parts of the actor are unfinished etc.)

Anyway, have fun! Feedback welcome, especially on how well the new actor fits in with the rest.

All the vanilla content uses that same module icon. I will integrate this with my dummy.rte vanilla thing, because it looks epic. Testing...
You converted this from PC content, I will convert it to macs and get back to you.
RESULT: You've made an AHuman dreadnought basically. It still sucks, it's still not worth using.

Looks mighty epic.
DL'ing and testing now.

EDIT: Actually, I really liked it. The rivet gun releasing a shotgun-like blast along with the project was pretty nice. Of course, the unit is far from flawless. Having no jetpack is a big problem, the limited aim angle was bothersome, and the arms and legs looked a bit... dunno, out of place.
This mod has, although, the potential to become a very good one. The concept is pretty interesting, though it needs a lot of polishment.

Don't bother, the rivet gun is kinda BAD, and the Hardsuit is an AHuman Dreadought, complete with lack of jetpack.

Well excuuuse me, princess :P

Anyway, though, don't moan about it not being super-mobile, it's already armored.

But, points made about the mod's rough edges are mostly valid, that's why it's on this subforum. I just wanted some early feedback.

Also, flam, it would be a lot more helpful if you told me the problems you have with the rivet gun.

It's just the sniper rifle with a muzzle add on. Nothing special about it. And for a heavy industrial robot, the Armoured walker thing is infinitely weak. The Dreadnought thing can take it down. We don't want balanced. Or I don't, anyway. AAL was too much of a heartbreak for me to lose a unit this epic.

I think mods overlapping was fixed before build 14.

no, balanced is good. it means your mod can actually be used for longer than ten minutes.

for me, its all about believability, if it gibs well and does what it should, i'd probably like it. a jetpack for this is probably in order though, or more, a jump-pack with glide would be nice. bonus points if you make small jets on the actors back and nice effects for it.
