Re: IWS-2000
Wow, i really wasn't expecting this kind of response, especially the one about it being revolutionary. I will Release a updated version on the OP using duh's offset fixes and other stuff.
Maybe i'll make a Faction using only MOSRot based weaponry...

Re: IWS-2000
It's pretty good, could need a custom sound maybe. I think the sniper looks abit weird, doesn't look like a sniper frankly. Why the blue colours? It's abit too 'strong' or 'muscly' looking, you should make it lower or smaller. Otherwise it's a pretty good mod.

Re: IWS-2000
@war man: I had a different version of the sprite, and when i compared it with the one I'm using now, i may use it instead.

Re: IWS-2000
This is actually a fun weapon to use, and I'm glad someone else decided to use MOSRotatings to avoid killing the terrain... but now I have to take a gun like this out of the mod pack I'm working on (I don't mind, really) I would add OrientToVel = 1 for the bullet though, it's weird to see it always facing one direction. And maybe you should change the GibImulseLimit, because it still passes through terrain, kind of awkward considering the size of the bullet. Oops, just realized someone said those things above, sorry! But that strengthens the point, I guess.I think the sprite needs a bit of work, but I don't usually pay much attention to how the gun works, I only care how much it will cost me to fight with it and how long and hard it will keep me fighting... and how fun it is. In terms of that, this is decent.

Re: IWS-2000
actually, it's rientovel = 0.6. 1 I don't know. 0.6 makes it face forward.

Re: IWS-2000
This gun is awesome. I know little about modding, but I don't understand how this wasn't thought before. I'll try the fixes posted above, but I'm annoyed by the fact that it always penetrate ground/bunker and it rarely passes through bodies =/ You know, in RL it would be just the other way. Any clue on that? Edit: a gif for the lulz This is with DeltaTime = 0.01, and the speed and weight of the bullet a little upgraded. The effects are about the same though, but it dies faster when impacting, so it doesn't pass through terrain.

This thing fires a 15.7mm Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot round, its designed to pierce tanks and hit the driver on the inside. And remember, nowdays tanks have armour made out of depleted uranium. Ground would be like cutting butter with a laser chainsaw for this thing.

Re: IWS-2000
It's not revolutionary. I've seen weapons like this before.
That said, it is incredibly innovative for a first mod. I'm looking forward to anything else you might upload Mr.Thorneous.

Re: IWS-2000
Not bad. Very good for a "first mod." Was created very well, and it works fine. Props.
Hope to see more.
