But with skills like Ivan's, or ork-gothic's it would be an "uber-undead-vampire-robot-of-DOOM" and I have tried a robot, i got about as far as it exploding when it tried to crouch. very usefull

ivan21 wrote: Posted little late? Any one of cc community cannot continue necrons with ready sprites!? Every noob can make robot! P.S. Sorry but I'am already in bad mood Every noob can make a robot, but not every noob can make a robot with good sprites, and ALOT of people have trouble with offsets, and MOST people have problems with custom materials, and I havent seen anyone but you make a working tank. Honestly, necrons should probably be easy because there an imbalanced race. there supposed to be over-powered metal-zombie-robots that don't die. Any noob can do it, but it takes skills from people like you and ork Gothic to get it done correctly. Apart from minor contributions here and there, for now, I'm putting my work on this on a temporary hold. I will submit my current phase in, and Gauss rifle, possibly do more work on them, and maybe make a gauss flayer, but other wise, I leave it in all of your hands. If you use my stuff, make sure I get credit. I will know. Quit fighting, and just have fun, thats the point. Peace.

Re: Necrons (Group WIP)
Just settle for Ork-Gothics beam weapon, that's how their weapon looks anyway. The glow problem is kwl, as the delighted particles floating around look awesome. Just make an ACrab with no legs and infinited jetpack, but too heavy to lift its own weight for too high, and call it a monolith, and I'll be happy. You can fine tune it later.

Re: Necrons (Group WIP)
I play necrons in tabletop and one thing I've noticed about the models is that while they stand at about the height of an imperial guardsman, it's simply because they're hunched over. If they were to stand straight up they'd be monstrously tall, about 8 or 9 ft.
This hunch gives them a lot of character, but it also gives the illusion of bulkiness and size by filling up so much volume, while the actual body parts are all very lanky. I'll see if I can make a torso at some point that can convey the hunch. At that point it's just offsetting the head so that it sits forward, past where the set of the feet are. They should look like they're craning their heads up, and it's this sort of movement makes them look especially sinister.
I'll give this a shot at some point and put it up.

The dummyz mods's necro guns must have been inspired by that.

To scale a crisis suit should be the size of a dreadnaut NOW, and the dreadnaut should be the size of a baneblade, and the baneblade should be a table. The models are not to scale.
