Quote: well not exactly inactive, he's some sort of immaterium beacon or something... "His soul is the Astronomicon which shine brightly trough the Empyrean and guides his faithful servants in the universe." Simply put, the Astronomicon/The Golden Throne is a lighthouse on Terra which the navigators with their third eye can use to navigate the warp. Quote: just like Kharne/Khorn Khorne Quote: The golden throne is actually a giant sarcophagus. Some say so, some say it's his flagship (see "Mechanicum" prolouge). It's all very fussy, but there's three reasons why he built the golden throne: 1. He wanted to destroy the warp. Simple as that. (As the Imperium would collapse without warptravel, I hope he had a plan for how to fix that) 2. There is a webway gate under the imperial palace and he wanted to inhabit the webway (which I personally think would be quite risky since the webway exists within the warp and see nr.1). 3. As he knew the future, he probably also built it for what it is used as today. See "The Horus Heresy: Collected Visions" for more info. And no, I do not have a life. EDIT: Great mod btw.

Re: WH40k basic space marines.
Ok, I thought we got over this history bs.
I vote that no one contributes anything unconstructive like sludgecrawler.
No offense but nobody needs that crap. Post something constructive.
But if I am wrong then I'm sorry.
Details like this doesn't help anyone

Re: WH40k basic space marines.
He's hardly being useless. He's the only one who knows his stuff?
if you want to contribute something better to the thread then make something constructive. Complaining about someone showing off what they know rather then complaining about the people doing what your doing is called "general ignorance" and should be avoided in most situations. And personally I've found his details to be very helpful in respect to projects I might take up.
Speaking of constuctivity. I got the Power Sword working. It's pretty fun to dual wield a power sword and a chainsword

May we trouble you for a screenie or files that we may drool upon? If you have the power sword working then you're really only some tweaking and a sprite away from a power fist as well....

As regards to the Powerfist. I'll probably make one for the guards men.

Re: WH40k basic space marines.
Whoa, I took a crack at it but it didn't go well. That... that's much better. Although it's probably just the style, the head looks way too big (and back-heavy to top it all off).

Re: WH40k basic space marines.
While the head is huge, that's the best looking face I've seen in CC. Makes me wish there was the slighest chance I could convince Data to scale everything up to be proportional to that face template.

I think it looks fine apart from him leaning back slightly...

411570N3 wrote: I think it looks fine apart from him leaning back slightly... Yea, he seems reluctant to fight, which fits in evem better! Just kidding, that needs correction. And legs are too thin, like chicken legs. Aside from that...I dunno, details for the lower halve of the body? But it's already a really good sprite. That would be the guardsman I want to see.

IMGLOL As regards to the Powerfist. I'll probably make one for the guards men. modify the offsets of his head and move it forwards a little. Default offsets always do this for some reason.

Re: WH40k basic space marines.
ok, so i'm not the best sprite artist in the world, or the best coder, and i'm using a chapter that almost no one knows about, but...
here they are! the invaders!
added a couple of weapons and a combat shield ie. power fist, storm bolter
Big Kudos to ivan, this is the most fun i've had with CC for a while now
feel free to replace anything you dont like ( i love modable games)
edit: oops forgot a screeny

I'll probably get to doing this when I add some more heads. And for those who mentioned it, I haven't begun to modify the legs yet. I still need to add the shin armour and I will probably need to mess with the pallet more. So far it's all ok though. Also guys, Your opinion please.. If I should do kasrkin. Should I make the respirator part of the face like Ivan did with his bear faction guys. Or should I make it part of the helmet?
