I like the bolters right now, they are balanced and fun to used, but in the future I think we should make some very expensive, but much more powerful marines. They need to be able to survive ak-47 shots, seriously, and I think perhaps most bullets should reflect, I find that too many of the metal damage decals get VERY annoying!
The heavy Sniper should cause damage to a marine, and a direct bazooka hit should kill them.
Other than that I think this mod is amazing! That's exactly what I said a while ago. Armor needs to be stronger! But I doubt anyone is going to go through the Ultramarines, Space Wolfs, etc and make them stronger.

Re: WH40k basic space marines.
They're good, but theres one significant flaw. the audio is horrible - if you're going to take it from a game (where it sounds as it should) please don't make it even slower. they take ages to say anything. apart from that, the're incredible.
EDIT: after looking at the sounds outside of the game I believe I owe you an apology. turns out that my pc was mangling the audio. However, the drop pod doesn't appear to do anything (open, etc) apart from crash into the ground spewing flames then scuttle itself. is there a way to make a pod that actually opens?

Yes, the hit effects... aka... GIB WOUNDS. Can be very crowded along the marines body and weapon. (I usually shrink them) BUT REMEMBER PEOPLE!
Ivan said earlier "He does not have time to fix any mods he makes or to re-release them" So yeah.
Also would anyone want some lame Terminator sprites that I will give full editing power to? By lame, I mean 3 toned, but they scale great.
HERE (apology to Ivan, for my heresy of posting these decrepit sprites)

Re: WH40k basic space marines.
Ivan, I just tried the mod. I'm even more impressed now Great job on the sounds and weapon effects. A couple of things: Be careful with capitalization and forward/backward slashes in the paths in the ini files. It works fine on windows, but mac is sensitive to both. Cortex Command\SM.rte\Devices\Weapons\Plasmapis\Plasmapis.ini open that do a search and replace /weapons/ to /Weapons/ Also the bakcslashes needed to be changed to forward slashes everywhere, like in Plasma.ini We will make the game code fix this issue so you don't have to worry about this in future builds, but for now if you want mac people to play your mod, it could be worth taking care of it early. - D

This mod needs a badge on the topic name--DATA APPROVED! I think I already said this, but this mod entirely great.

Yes, this mod is truly great! I really haven't seen this good of a mod since the AAL.
That reminds me, could the armor for the Space Marines have the same armor setting as the Space Marines in AAL?

I'm gonna work on a Chaos Marine, what color scheme would work well? I was thinking either black or alpha legion.
