   |   how do i install a new map?it seems very confusing to me
i don't know what to do with the map to get it working

   | Are there not instructions? usually it overwrites Base.rte or you have to mess around in Base.rte/Index.ini and remove the .rte from PromGrounds.rte.

   | The maps usually have nice, clean directions in a readme or someplace... some of the scenes require you to replace the scene folder and the scenes.ini that are inside the base folder, while others are add-ons where all you have to do is take out a few lines in some of the index files... so look for directions. And follow them.

   | i keep trying to install the map tomato and i can't seem to get it working
the readme says to replace the files but i don't know what files to replace

   | copy the base.rte from the tomato folder, paste that in the main cortex command folder, when it says "folder already exists, replace?" click "yes to all"
 thats how i did it

   | It is because the map you have put in is for a older version such as v0.9
