Re: Orbit Lands - It's gravitationally delicious!
Orbit Lands comes with Lua, that's the code that makes it work. Chances are, the buy menu is crashing for you, not the map. There have been some problems with that from other people.

Well, you can download it, but you already have downloaded it. The (mostly) full version of Lua is redistributed with Cortex Command.

Now do it with the moon on the planet.

You'd have to edit Moon.ini.

Re: Orbit Lands - It's gravitationally delicious!
Do you think you could release a version without the space station?
All my attempts to send an actor into orbit are thwarted when they splatter against the thing.

Yeah, the space station stinks... Not only does it get in the way of everything, it's lack of orbit makes it not fit in.

Now Lastbannana, you have become even more awesome. I have just one suggestion, make the planet look like your avatar!

Re: Orbit Lands - It's gravitationally delicious!
The space station is annoying at times, but you can do some fairly easy editing to get it of the way, in-game no less! First, go into Editors in the main Menu, then go into 'Area Editor', select the map Orbit Lands. You will now see the planet and the space station! See those red boxes covering the space station? That is what is giving it its standard downward gravity. Delete those mofos by going into the radial menu (right click) and selecting "delete." After you have deleted all of the boxes, exit and go into the Scene Editor. Delete those pesky bunker modules standing in the way of your orbiting cosmonauts!
!WARNING! Deleting the boxes in the Area Editor will get rid of them from the area menu. If you want to keep one for later use, put a very small box somewhere in the corner of the map/center of the planet or wherever. This way, you can re-make the space station wherever you please. Just remember that the moon will be flying around...

Re: Orbit Lands - It's gravitationally delicious!
Version 2 with no space station released. Also, gravity is doubled, so getting things to orbit will be easier, and closer to the first version.
