Re: Your favorite Tactic
A pair or 3 man team of Shinobi Tengu's with Shock Mortars perched at a high point on the map can rain down some ridiculous map clearing havoc on pretty much anything, with a decent rate of fire.

Re: Your favorite Tactic
I like building a simple, small bunker. Just now I made one on Sanguelac on the hill. The brain bunker was in the middle, halfway up, and it had two doors on each side leading to some foxholes where I had a couple of Coalition guys. There was a hole in the top of each foxhole to get new units in, and I also had a hangar on top of the brain bunker, guarded by two more Coalition guys, so I could safely extract and replace units and equipment. Eventually it got over-run and the last unit I had was the dreadnought inside the brain bunker. I did order the odd couple of Coalition with the drop-boxes but they mostly got mowed down as soon as they jumped out. I used mainly Coalition guys with M16s and Coalition Frag grenades (With a shortened timer). Just once, though, I dropped in a Coal. Heavy with an autocannon, but he got pwnt by a bazooka wielding Ronin just after he jumped out of his transport.

Re: Your favorite Tactic
I set up a bunker, a well guarded one, after that I start the game and start it of by using my specialist Heavy Sniper as an assault troop, and when that fails, I call in another.
I have to replace often, the Heavies aren't so heavy, and the guns, and the tunnels, man, AI these days, at least Heavy Snipers are good at their part.
Depending on the accessibility of guarded skies above my fort, I send in a scrap crew, because DSs are expensive, so the dummies are loade down like hell, and are sent back for sale. If I can afford a DS, I usually send it out to scavenge on what ever it can obtain, and that includes tools, grenades, weapons, and retarded troopers.

Re: Your favorite Tactic
I aways take the best soldier, and go alone with a pistol, a sniper, a digger, and a heavy gun. But sometimes I have problems with the jetpack... At least I aways end up in the top, with no stupid friends shooting me.

Epic game style:
1. Start a "death mode" skirmish on any favorite map 2. Add Solid Snake without any equipment 3. Begin match 4. Try to kill atleast 100 or more guys (You can set your own achievement here)
Its really fun, especially the first moments when youve got a actor that cant fly (only jump) and has no weapons/tools to begin with. You must wait or trick the enemy to screw up and drop its weapon and then you must pick it up and start your rampage with it while acquiring more powerful weapons on the way.

Once you get a digger, it's pretty much unfair. Diggers are Epic Man vs. World weapons.

Re: Your favorite Tactic
1. Create well fortified and guarded bunker with a landing platform over it for dropships 2. Buy a dummy with a pistol and riot shield and use it to kill AI soldiers 3. Pick up their guns and fly back to the landing platform 4. Use dropship to place another dummy and pick up the last one. 5. ???? 6. profit.
Mining is for chumps. Real men abduct enemy soldiers with the standard dropship and sell them back to their makers. Well, I guess REAL men abduct them with the standard rocket, but I can't claim to be that manly.

Re: Your favorite Tactic
Dreadnoughts are more vulnerable to being abducted then any other unit because they are slow and can't shoot up.
