How do humans reproduce if they all just disembodied brains? Cloning just doesn't have the same feel as the real thing.

By growing embryo seeds, the seeds become clones, and they live 'normal' lives, until drafted by some Brain.

That's why the Mastermind hates Clones. ( referenced from 'The Life and Death of Clone ( Someone PM me the rest of the title )' )

Hey Foa PROTIP a story written by a forum member isn't really canon!

The lower class lives like normal people do today, living normal length lives. The extremely poor sell their bodies into clone-slavery in order to make a little bit of money. See: the ragtag faction, official storyline spoilers.

I think this game will enter into the realm of a lot of the best entertainment things these days: simultaneously silly and awesome. Like Team Fortress 2, or Castle Crashers. Comically violent, which somehow makes it wrap back around into hardcore awesome.

I feel like this kind of entertainment is a more recent phenomenon that our younger generations appreciate.

Post Re: Storyline questions...
Well I have a couple of questions.

1. Will we control just one protaganist, or control multiple?
2. Will this game even have an ending?
3. Let's assume you get to assign your alliance to a specific faction. Will each faction have their own storyline that will eventually be tied to each others?
4. So, if factions raid different places, then each faction storyline has a set difficulty level?
Ex: (1 is the easiest, 10 is the hardest)
Code:
Coalition's difficulty: 5
Whitebot's Difficulty: 10
Ragtag's Difficulty: 1

1. Protagonist= yo brain
2. Not if data wants lots and lots of your parents money
3. Probably not, unless your talking vanilla actors, in which case tres likely... I dont think Data could keep up with all the factions being released, ♥♥♥♥ or otherwise
4. It would seem this is correct... AAL can pretty much destroy everything else... but you have to realize, we probably wont really see a difficulty for this game... i mean, the AI isnt that smart, and one person can take on legions and legions of harshly conditioned troops

sigh i have no real clue as to any of those answers, they just hypothesis

ccjav there are confirmed factions for the final game.

Pay more attention and stop answering questions you don't know the answers to.

Roy-G-Biv: I can only assume that you choose a faction at the beginning of the game, and the protagonist is a generic brain-unit representing that faction.

The ending would probably be whenever your chosen faction dominates the rest of the planet.

I don't really think there's going to be a storyline per se; rather, a metagame planetwide view that lets you choose territories to conquer until you own the full planet.

A difficulty wouldn't make sense; each faction would probably just ramp up as missions progressed, at the same rate.

1 Cup Risk
2 Cups Worms Armageddon
2.5 tsps Lua
4 quarts physics engine

Mix, bake and let cool for 7 years -> Cortex Command.

Yum.

See now THAT was trolling, but I still haven't flamed you.

Just said you were wrong. I hardly think it's an insult to tell someone they don't know something.
