Yes, I do plan on making a super heavy, but its campaign related. The weapons will be awesome and epic over the top, but expect that to come after Data releases the final build, I have a few other goals in life I want to do and few other mods that are fully possible now, but the real AAL faction mod will come once I have all the tools I need. I still need to learn Lua, get a job and study in school and I hope Data will get CC far by then so I can make it. Right now I'm designing and perfecting those design that I will make a mod of it once I have it all planned. Meanwhile the old AAL will remain like this. I will do non-AAL related mods now, but secretly work on the masterpiece that you will all enjoy playing to the maximum. And no, I will not make a crab based unit ever. Dont ask why.

How about some sort of sidearm for the mechs? Possibly dual pistols.

Oh god, a sidearm for the MPAM would be so awesome. Like, a Desert Eagle .50....only 50 times bigger. Ouch.
How about some sort of shield? You can never have to much armor on a mech!
And as long as we're on a roll with weapon ideas, how about a proper sniper rifle? Something more compact than the cannon, yet long range and precise.

The MPAM already has a back up weapon. it's jetpack and it's feet. Seriously, if you lose your gun try re-enacting mario. it's excellent.
Also, filefront doesn't like me much. Time for 3rd download attempt!
Edit: finally: a successful download.

I wish Cortex Command supported custom actor types. I want a giant mechanical death worm.

That is a brilliant idea. Think Amrobotic's robotic drill meets Dune. Simply awesome.

Except it would fly. I got this idea while playing with the megadrill.

Excuse me, does anyone have a second pair of pants? Also, I think you should have a MASSIVE slug rifle, I mean something that just fires this big ass ball, no smoke or flames or anything, just when it connects with a clone, that clone pops.

if that worm idea comes to fruition, please let it produce a residue when it digs allowing ultra-awareness of actors when collected, possibly with a cinnamon scent..... also make it drop crysknifes when killed, that would be insane, and with cortex, there would be no worries about shedding blood

Maybe it secretes acid, as I don't think spice is a usable resource.
