Don't you have to have like, 8 gigs of RAM just for games to run smoothly without Vista hogging memory space?

Being gullible and thinking Vista uses obscene amounts of RAM is a new fad right?

Download the ageia physx drivers, then the GFX drivers (32 or 64bit IF you have vista) and it works like a charm

So Nvidia actually pulled it off they actually made working physx driver for the 8800GT.

That makes me laugh at anyone who bought the physx card if they saved their money they could afford another 8800 to dedicate to physx.

So after playing warcrap It sickens me that we need a separate gpu/ppu to computer the simplistic physics being used in warmonger. I think game devs aren't optimizing there games on purpose forcing us buy better faster hardware. Ive seen better physics in red faction on the ps2.

I can't get it working, first I downloaded the 177.39 driver, then After installing that I tryed the physx driver, right after accepting the terms I get an error saying that it had "Ended prematurely due to an error". Anyone know how to fix this? I'm running Vista 32 bit and using a factory OC'ed 8800GT.

Tried warmonger, the cloth physics are fairly impressive but honestly... everything else is a little lame.

Runs perfectly, but not convinced those physics couldn't be emulated at a decent speed without physx.

Even the cloth physics were crap. I know cloth physics are a little hard to accurately simulate but still.
The cloths were really low res triangle wise toss in about 100 tris per cloth then you'll have some decent physics.

Looking at some of the vids on youtube it looks like ageia does a better job with physx than nvidia.
