You need some sort of directional charge for escaping or infiltrating bunkers.

Even if I can only do half those features, it'd still be a pretty epic and customizable piece of equipment.

My first thought upon reading this was "but how would you direct it?" Then I realized... I could make it so you set down a controllable actor on a surface. That'd be kinda neat. Then you take control of it to aim the charge, and then fire to detonate it. It's totally doable. You could easily set them on enemy bunker doors, which would probably be the easiest thing for them to blow up.

You know what, I think I'm gonna make this thing. Thanks for the idea.

Could you make a drop pod that ejects sideways? That way you can deliver more than one troop at once.

Edit: It should eject up too.
