Is the drop pod supposed to be gold because it's ♥♥♥♥ hot from entering the atmosphere?
Imo it looks more like a gold statue than something that fell from the sky.

Ur quote's broken... lol. Also, I think you should look to bubs for inspiration on how to do shot for the shotgun, i've already put it in and it looks so much better. + I think you should keep the old battle rifle sprite and use it for something else. What I did was up the ROF and lower the accuracy on the new BR and put the old one back in with lower ROF higher power and higher accuracy, with a longer sharplength. It's always nice to have alternative assault rifles in your packs

I meant more like a giant version of the mortar we have now. The mortar shots lighting down like a storm, so it would make sense to call the Turret a Storm Turret. (@ Darlos)When/if you make the mech, if possible, put an emitter that generates a storm around it.

It's always nice to have alternative assault rifles in your packs While I agree the Crobo shotgun pellets look pretty awesome, I'd feel like I was ripping off if I did that. So, I won't. I was thinking of modifying the old battle rifle sprite a bit to make the sniper rifle, because I do like the old sprite alot. I'd get rid of the handle thing on top and just put on a big scope, elongate the barrel, and do some other things. I don't want to make slightly different but similar weapons, though. Part of re-making my mod was to avoid that. Actually, something I forgot to mention is that in the .rte, you can swap between the old and new sprites for the battle rifle and PDW. there's a "standard" and "bullpup" folder in the folders for those two weapons. copy the contents of one into the main weapon folder to switch to that one. make sure you copy ALL of the contents though. Also don't delete anything so you can switch back easily.

The drop pod right now gibs into identical small pieces; looks kinda boring. It is a work in progress, though, right? Otherwise, no complaints. I like the way the mortar doesn't rape terrain but still affects it as well as the non-rape of the drop pod. Excellent new additions.

The shock mortar is pretty kickass, especially the lightning rain effect, unless youre shooting straight upwards. Its really hazardous at close range which makes it quite balanced.
I figure you wanted to make the droppod look like its being superhot as it enters the atmosphere, but it didnt look too well with it being entirely in bright fiery colors, it looked like it was made out of gold.
Use the original sprite and make it fade with only the bottom part being fiery and the majority being the original color scheme. Make the smokes fly to the sides rather than straight up like it does now, it will look much better that way. Also dramatically decrease the amount of smokes too pls, it ALWAYS lags when I order this golden crap.
Also imo that PDW has just way too much ammo, please make it 20 or 30 at maximum, since the current setting makes it feel like an annoying spray gun.
The clones loose their arms way too easily. I really often tend to have my darklone running around armless dashing at everything just to make him worth the money I paid for him. Moar strenght plz.
Nice lookin flamer I found in the folder btw, cant wait to try it out. : )

I really like the new name. "DarKlone" Kinda looked like a crappy pun. DarkStorm is cooler The thing I like most is firing a shot with the schock mortar, and watching the lightning fall onto my ennemies. Very cool weapon! And the drop pod is sorta... weird. Why is it red-orange-yellow-whatever?

No. It's based off of two weapons: the fictitious "machine gun" (actually its a sub machine gun) from Doom 3 that I always liked, which has 60 rounds, and the very real P90, which has 50 rounds, and uses small ammo. The ammo in my PDW is even smaller because its caseless, so a lot more can be packed into a magazine. To counteract that, though, it has a somewhat longer reload time than usual, due to the odd loading of the magazine. To be perfectly honest, setting the ammo to 20 or 30 wouldn't even be remotely realistic, due to the nature of the ammo and the gun's construction. Sorry. In other news, I made a sniper rifle. And I swear to god, I can't get it to function the way I want at all, at least as far as the bullets go. Assuming Data has addressed a certain issue I raised a while back, I can do it right in B21, maybe even without Lua (though I'd still use Lua to do scope zoom in/out correctly). I'll release the sniper rifle with my next release, as well as a rocket launcher - which should be a bit easier to get working - but its a work in progress. Speaking of works in progress, I haven't touched the drop pod again yet. I agree with the idea of it only glowing on the bottom. I was kinda thinking about doing something like that.
