Post Cortex Command Broke My computer
Was in scene editor placeing down a plateform all of sudden it freezes my entire computer had to do a hard shut down.

Start it back up my computer no longer boots, unplugged waited couple of minutes restart nothing.

Cleaned out computer than reset it up, it boots.
Than freezes again before it shuts down says display diver is broken.

Now it just goes into a loop of restarting.
using house computer to post this.

If it constantly restarts it may be a motherboard problem. Check if it has cracks in it or whatnot.

I've had your problem before, my reason was my power supply was going out as well as my motherboard. Try getting a new one of either of those and see if that fixes your computer. As for the display driver going out, maybe a coincidence.

Also, XP service pack 3 is supposed to be bugged if you installed that recently.

Sorry to hear about all this man, my computer at home is borked due to buying a used hard drive to be my master drive. Why I did it I'll never know.

What? If it's freezing, reformat. I doubt CC broke your computer, your computer might have overheated or some other stress-related occurrence might have happened while playing CC though.

And get XP.

Vista is not the center of all problems. You can stop thinking that your OS is at fault.

It was not the fault of the game, that was simply coincidence.

You probably nudged the power supply or something.
When this happened to me it was while I was installing new speakers. I tried to unplug the old ones and... unplugged my computer.
When I turned it back on this happened.
I ended up having to buy a new hard drive :V

LIES ALL OF IT! LIES I TELL YOU!... If i hadnt read your post all the way I would of said you run on windows 95 or somthing?

BTW I have noticed that if CC crashes in anyway if you go into processes its still eating your RAM and CPU up... I only noticed recently while tesing my new gun... had about 14 CC processes in there so dont forget to end them :D *only on vista i think*
