just an idea...
i was thinking, to make the game more fun/challenging, it would be cool to be able to take over the enemy's troops with some sort of mind comtrol device. my question now is, can there be a mod for it, or is it only a concept in future cc builds? Attachment:

[it would only work on inactive troops on ai mode]

Re: just an idea...
Not possible to implement as a mod, with the current build, perhaps in later builds.

You could have an actor that turns evil, IE gibs a team2 actor or something of the sort.
That's about it for now. Maybe when Lua's implemented within the next couple years.

Re: just an idea...
It'd be cheap. For example.
You enemy haz like, 9999 million gold. You have like, 1 gold. He buys an UBER mech. You have mind control. You decide to mind control the mech. He loses the mech to you. You anihilate him. And it repeats.
Unless you have to do some sort of button mashing for mind controlism.

but maybe it could take longer to control the bigger or more uber mods, and could easily be thwarted by a teammate. then, of course the game would be long, and boring. so, i guess you are right.

You do realise that without altering the game's code, it will almost certainly be impossible to implement a button mashing mini-game as you describe.

Or, you have to type a phrase within a certain timespan, difficulty depending on the mental strength of the clone or encryption strength of the robot. A skeleton would require no real skill at all to control while an AAL Mech is virtually impossible. And if set, once the mind is under control. It still may be fight back, scrambling the keyboard's controls for several moments or firing at random or even self-destruct. It would be cool, but I doubt it would be implemented.

Re: just an idea...
the real way to do it is swap your mind control guy with the other guy! so you spend a bunch of muny on your coalition heavy level mindcontroller and then you would think twice about giving it to the enemy! also it could be a one time thing with a self gibbing gun after 1 shot...
but in the other direction... instead of only taking the enemies best units, you take their weakest units because you also have to pay for part of their cost or something.
Oh! they take damage percentage based on how much they cost! so if you take a darKlone heavy he might only have like 20 or 30 health but a dummy would have like 100 and more average guy about 70
