I seemed to have missed that one while perusing this thread, or I wouldn't have posted my suggestion. This one is quite cool and I think it wins out of all the names I did see most of them sucked donkey balls

This isn't a bad mod. I definitely enjoy how unique the riot breaker and the officer are. Honestly I think you need less quantity though, way too many weapons. I never really understood why people make so many weapons, two, three or four per army I might understand, but honestly all they do for me when I play the game is clutter up my buy menu.

My only request is you try and make weapons for different situations instead, ranges, cover, clear line of sight etc. Most of the guns just seem like gank machines atm and I think you could do better justice to your awesome actors. Also, your heavy weapons sprites leave something to be desired, I'd almost want to throw some new spriting at you (and I might) to see what you think.

Other than that, I suppose this mod could be more balanced, I jsut feel way too evil with the riot breaker, I hate to see how dastardly the cyclops will be. Though you seem to do good keeping gold cost and such up.

So the summary is; this is great stuff so far, but I'd honestly like to see it fit the game more, it would make this good WIP into one for the history books to remember, as well as many adoring fans, I'd guess. Good luck!

If you don't like the number of weapons, just remove them, don't complain about it. They're all high quality sprites and the coding is nice. I don't know why you wish to criticize them.

I know, but what I'm saying is that the weapon sprites for this aren't actually that high quality, they just work for some reason.

Red is a hard color to do thanks to the CC pallete. My bolter took ages because there just were'nt enough reds for shading and highlights.

I'm afraid to say this but I hate the sprites. I'm sorry but I really dont like it, the heavy is good but the light is terrible especially the helmet.

Well it might be only the helmet and eyes.

@ Caelas: I'll do what I want :3 (within the board rules, of course.) Anyway, I'm just giving some feedback for this mod. I'm under the impression such feedback was requested.

I don't reject negative feedback myself because I use it as a tool to improve my own work. Your opinion isn't any more valuable than mine and vice versa. I understand red's prolly pretty tough to sprite but that's not why I find the sprites lacking.

Also, I said I liked the mod. It's a good effort and quality shines through in a number of places, which is no easy achievement. I'm only giving this feedback because I value and respect this mod and want to put in my 2c.
