somebody should make a sand blaster that has high velocity and weight so it tears the limbs off of actors but also work as a concrete sprayer.

That aside, I think Sunabouzu from Desert Punk would make a reasonably appropriate character for CC.

He uses a cooled suit of armor to patrol the desert ruins of japan in the future and works as a mercenary.

Except he does it in style.

This mod is very lacking otherwise. A desert themed group has a lot of precedence both is real life and ficition. But it's a bigger project that wha tthis mod delivers.

Actually, back in B14 I think, someone made mod about this Desert Punk, it even has a hook thingy, though I never realized I never downloaded it.

Actually, me and my friend were planning on making a sand monster that would be the Sand Coalition's strongest weapon. We were also planning on making a custom dropship that looks nothing like the one in game. We are just making our own army, really. If you guys pay attention, they aren't resprites. The Sandshooter is a SMG made of sand, it's relatively weak, but it's one-handed. The Sand Coalition guy is meant to be used in desert levels because he has camo and his health is in the sky. I think eventually this will be incredibly unique. Could someone make a list of suggestions for the Sand Coalition. But don't edit it.*NO SAND GOLEM* I'm already making a sand monster.

How about you have them bleed concrete particles?

Like their amror tries to patch itself up but it gets really messy and they leak hardening fluid eeverywhere.

Uhh, interesting story, so they ARE golems.
Golem = Being created out of stuff.

Tried it, pretty cool.

I think that bleeds should not be a constant rate though, it should be little explosions of sand.
The actor looks dumb, he shouldn't be imitating a soldier that closely, he should be humanoid shape, but not a bloody clone of a clone!
They shouldn't heal, they should just be tough as nails, and have a very high GibWoundLimit, so the GibImpulseLimit is like the only way to kill them.

The guns are dumb, they should either use coalition guns, or something crudely mechanical, you can't make guns out of sand.

The sprite textures are quite good though, but please change them from resprites.
And he should have bloody glasses or armour, unless the armour is plates of breakable sand, which would be good.

Ok, thanks for the beta, i understand what you're making now.

The sand guys are surprisingly satisfying to kill! Plus, sand-only wars for a good challenge. Good job at that bleed-out feature, btw, I've never seen a character that only heals to its original health - and no more. You probably should change the health to 100, though. The game uses health to decide cost. If he has 125 health, he will cost (something like) 25% more than the shown price.

Have you thought about just making the s8-soldiers spawn from the ground? If you've seen the old zombie mod, it can look really effective.

And lastly ... sand guns are no fun. I agree with Winterous. I know this is your mod, but I think it would look better if you used rusty old AK-47's and such, or just give them sand-throwing abilities.

(ie. Thow a sand ball that bursts with very short-life high-damage particles, as well as a bunch of low velocity non-damaging sand. The hard part is what the "gun" would look like.)

EDIT: Also, are you going to update the actor sprites? Cause I like the mod, and I'd be happy to help.
