It is possible..... but the gravity thing might be a bit hard actually, it's already been done (moon base thing) so, it is esily possible..

Great idea!
Just a thought, instead of making the screen size 150%, make it 200% so that both space and ground have equal size, 'cause, you know, space is kinda big.
Also, until gibbing ships is PERFECTED I think we should hold off on this. It makes it more...cool is probably the word I'm looking for.

Nope.. You'd need some kind of layer in the ground.. but you can make that a new material.. like a fight over the deathstar or something starwarsy like that. Someone should make that..... I can't. Sowwy.

You make contours = off bottom?... Can't you? But touch the bottom and you're ship blows up..... Maybe a distant view of planet "Omicron Persei 8" (haha... Look for futurama if you are uneducated..) and it 's gravity can still pull... but not as much as on it... A bit like that movie bit Halo 2 with MC and the bomb thing (begining, on the station)...

Robots wouldn't.... Maybe special areas Robots and vehicles only? Also add MC mods as robots....

I think you should be able to still buy humans and there heads would explode. It would be a cool aspect of the space wars.
