Post my dad's blocked downloads
i need your help!

my dad, cause of all the viruses on the comp has somehow stopped my comp from downloading anything at all from the internet. i've tried IE AND Firefox, but its my comp. i DO know that he's done it as he said so. could you tell me how to fix / change this back?

Well, since we have no idea WHAT he's blocked them with and HOW, we can't really help. Can you explain further?

Also, try googling the problem, sometimes that works for me, or you can try googling how to block them, and then do those steps in reverse order or the like.

well, all i can say is that in Firefox, when for instance i click on a download on this a forum, a blank page appears with the words "this object has been blocked" i do not know if he has used a program or it's just a windows thang. thanks for help anyway

Maybe you should not download anything. Like. Respect your father's wishes. Be a good person. Go to school. Contribute to society. Stop downloading viruses.

i agree, if you need something downloaded, you ask your dad.
