Post Nighttime and Vision Radius-ness?
Pretty much in a nutshell, maybe there could be an option, or a map or something, where everything is covered by a fog of war, and your guy has this kind of flashlight in the general area in front of him and thats the only thing that your team can see. It would make scouts, and sentries, and having to listen and not just look more usefull. (Maybe even having search lights?
What do you guys think?

That an awesome idea! Would make cortex command so its harder to shoot randomly in the air until you see the bullet tracers on the other players screen

That and, anything that involves me being able to sneak, and own people from behind would be awesome, it would also make guns that have silencers usefull.

I think that would make the game way too hard. Also mining would be a real ♥♥♥♥♥. But maybe you should post a picture or something of how big the radius of your vision would be.

I would like it if idle units held flashlights as well, so you could set up guard spotlights.

That's a good point, although I suppose it depends on how it's handled. I think this could be fun for a level in the campaign which doesn't focus so much on mining.

... I actually think that it's ok, but only if there's something you can buy to get an orbital camera(which lets you see everything), but that still wouldn't let you see underground....

In the campaign it might be cool in a map where you won't get support from a station, and if there were a REALLY big BvB map then having it so you have to buy it might make it interesting. Come up with a sonograph or something that will show you what's underground?
