Post Bunker Enhanced
Hmm... wonder if anyone remembers me.... In any case, I've been working on a couple of modules I felt were missing from the base set.

Split Stairs:

A Large Hangar:

The center platform is raised so when troops are delivered they're dropped to be a little further away from the rocket's jets. Also, the walls are metal so they can withstand a heavy digger for some time, allowing you to dig away debris that has found its way into your hangar.

Embrasure:

Needs a little reworking for shape, but pretty fun to use, and it works quite well. :)

Anyone interested in these, or anyone have any requests?

Ooh, quite nice. Might I suggest a wide tunnel for those larger actors, or a "large" independent bunker with a curved shape like a pilbox?

Oh, good idea with the large tunnel. I find the red-eyed robots hit their heads in the current tunnels. :o

I'll see what I can do about an independent Bunker too.

Those bunker modules look great. Are you working on any more?

Oh, and I remember you.

Pillbox anyone?

I also found in my testing that it was easy to, with a little clever placement, integrate the pillboxes into your base:

You'll have to pardon me if it's not what you had in mind Alpha. If it's not what you want, feel free to elaborate and I'll do my best to make it real. :)

And hey there Breened! Hopefully I'll be working on a couple more thoroughly needed modules. I'll probably adapt the pillbox's design to redo the Embrasures, and I was also planning a dropship hangar, which I feel is most needed.

All I can say is that I'd like the Pillbox to integrate into the 24x24 pixel tilesets better.

Size-wize it fits perfectly. The sprite is a multiple of 24x24, so it fits quite well into the tileset functionally, though maybe not visually. (192x192)

Want me to bulk up the bottom?

EDIT:
Some of you really like your huuuuge mechs and robots. That's right, I've seen 'em. For you I present these modules with which to build very large hallways and hangars.

Since I don't feel that they're as important for the base game, I've got them in a separate rte right now. I might end up making a complete hangar and large hallway building pack. (With corners and everything.) Right now I'm sort of cheating; I mixed base pieces in with my pieces for that hangar. Worked though. :)

Good to hear you think so!

Update on the Embrasures:
I took my work on the pillbox and converted the embrasures on that into a more fitting bunker module. It worked excellently. It'll replace my original embrasures.

It also might please Grif to know that the edges are quite fitting for the 24x24 tileset. :P This means the Embrasures, Large Hangar, Split Stairs, and Pillbox are all ready. What's to come: Dropship Hangar, slightly large halls. Should I release these soon and update with the dropship one and halls later, or finish the dropship one and halls first?

It's a small miracle. A good bunker module addendum. Rejoice.

Hm.. (In agreement with THOR)

Many people think of a bunker module as a big box. Now these, these are actually things.

And I'll be using that giant tunnel one alot, cause I like bases with multiple rooms instead of just tunnels.
