I dunno, if he's really tough, then it would make it really easy to scout the whole map. If a scout actor were to be made, it would have to have a low amount of health to keep it from being "cheating".

I suppose, but it should be resistant to falling damage, so it could be quickly dropped out of a rocket without too much fuss.

Or you could just fly really low and drop him off.

Or that.

I wish tools and weapons could be delivered without rockets though- just dropped off the top of the screen (actors would go splat, obviously).

I like the current system. If a gun broke and you wanna replace it, just drop in a new one. If it dropped off the top of the screen, it would be hard to know where it was being dropped. Unless there was a lil marker you used to tell it where to drop. Which would probably be hard to code.

Data has said that eventually we'll be able to mark out where rockets and the like try to land.

Heck, maybe actors could sit on dumpster lids to cushion the impact

Oh, I did not know that. Well, for the time being, we can't.

That would be funny. More than likely though they'll parachute in. But I would like to see dumpster lids as replacements.

Hooray for the power of dumpster lids!

Maybe the wait for bought items that you have chosen to simply drop in could be a bit longer, like 10 -15 seconds, to represent the fact that they have been thrown at the planet by the OMGSUPERSPACESTATION instead of arriving in a fast, self-propelled rocket.

Instead of being free, perhaps there could be a small fee, like 5 gold, to make people think at least a little about what they're going to have delivered.

This fee would be paid to the hard-working people aboard the OMGSUPERSPACESTATION for use of their "random crap" cannons to fire supplies at the planet

I've been thinking about this, and a radar would be just as useful, like just showing a contour of the map and your units in green and the enemy units in red.

To make it fair tho it should cost like 200 gold. I also think it would be immense if it was in orbit around the planet and slowly scanned the map, rather than being constantly updated, like the radar you see for air traffic control, but horizontally. It would be a lot of work for data tho.

sounds interesting, although a bit too complicated

it would be cool, but i don't think it would be something to get to excited about.
I'm almost sure that probably won't come to be.
