Random Freezing
well it's come to this. I need help. For some reason Cortex command suddenly stops loading(reading) when it gets to line 1130 in Effects/Pyro.ini. I hadn't done anything in Pyro.ini anywhere near line 1130 or below it, or nothing that hadn't already worked before. I've checked around it and it starts from there with the normal clone jetpack nozzle, which I had never touched at any point, and nothing seemed to be wrong with it. I'm really at a deadend here, and it would take a while for me to move all my mods and uninstall/reinstall CC. Can anyone help please?

Re: Random Freezing

Re: Random Freezing
Why not install CC somewhere else and copy the affected file into your main directory ? As opposed to isntalling over it.

Re: Random Freezing
Are you sure you're using the latest build? In build 18 Pyro.ini is in Base.rte\Effects\Pyro and there is no line 1130.

Re: Random Freezing
yeah, I meant base.rte/effects/pyro/pyro.ini. I have added mopixels and so on so its larger, but I like I said, I didn't change anything in there inbetween the last time I played and the time it screwed up.

Re: Random Freezing
Correct Answer: Stop modding base.rte, learn to make an indepent .rte, reinstall.

Re: Random Freezing
Like he said, his changes did not mess up Base.rte
But your right, don't mess with Base.rte unless your making a total conversion.

Re: Random Freezing
Wait what? That doesn't make grammatical sense. Is English your native language?

Re: Random Freezing
Ah, truth. Also could have put Need to do it, which is basically what mine is, only shorter. Local dialects and etc, so mine's gramatically correct in my local dialect.
