I'm really excited, but I'm also hoping that CC would come to stores, but that involves mass production, and that involves slaves in Micronesia.

Or like. .raring it.

It's not going to be in boxes in Target. He's probably going to have a completely online sale. It's easier, faster, and cheaper for everyone involved.

Hmmm, well now that it is comming to CC being sold,I have a question...

What will Data do after CortexCommand?

Obviously CC still has a long way to go before total completion... but...

Will he eventually...
Begin making:"CortexCommand2: Cerebral Strike".?

Get a job not related to programming?

OH HEY I REMEMBER THIS GAME CALLED CORTEX COMMAND.

Anyway, what I read sounded interesting. I would definitely find some way to pay for Cortex Command. But fifty bucks? Build 19 would have to be pretty amazing for fifty bucks. Finished retail games usually cost that much when they first come out.

If you're going to make it 50$, then perhaps you should find some additional means of distributing it, such as XBLA, Steam, retail, etc. I doubt people would want to shell out 50$ for a 2D game, no matter how advanced some of it's elements seem.

Anyhoo, Steam won't be the way to go. They may try to steal the license or provide crappy service. either way, no.

Go with an independent indie publisher

OH HEY LOL OR GAME IS SMALL ENOUGH FOR DOWNLOAD FROM SITE. Idiots, steam is for massive games, and guess what CC isn't? Massive.

Popcap games are on steam, and they are not large at all.

Steam is not meant for only large-scale games (although that was the point of its original design). Its completely outgrown its moniker of "distribution service" to become a complete cyberstore.

Also, steam is not bad.

Every platform, program, application, and system has its detractors. Steam is no exception, unfortunately.

Steam was fine with me at first, but then it started being a complete annoying lying piece of-...

Anyway.. Enough about steam. We can easily download this from the site. Data will think of something.
