Re: BIOSHOCK
IMO, the tommy-gun is used only as a last resort.

Re: BIOSHOCK
The machine gun is powerful but has tons of recoil making it ineffective for long range targets. Powerful gun, but awful recoil.

Re: BIOSHOCK
Okay, so does anyone here actually own it on Steam? I was curious if someone would let me try it first before I fork out 50.00 USD for it.
Anyone willing? PM me.

But both your video card and your processor are on the very lowest end of the minimum requirements. In fact, unless your processor's at least 2.4 GHz, then you're under the minimum. You could probably build a fairly capable machine for not much.

You could probably build a fairly capable machine for not much. So how much money would it be to actually play it with good graphics and res.?

Re: BIOSHOCK
I have it on Steam... sorta... won't let me play 'till it's released in Europe. I am not allowed to say why under a certain rule.

Galaxy613 wrote: Once you get the Thompson tho, you can throw strategy out the window. Except for the fact that there's only very little ammo (and other munition) available, like in System Shock 2. Devs did so intentionally so that players could think outside the box for themselves, and not rely on guns all the time. They included alotta stuff on the demo just for showcasing them. You won't really get a Thompson that early in the game, nor incinerate, nor that much ammo/EVE/medkit/money on nearly every single corpse. I guess that's why the demo gives such a generic expression for some people
