Unless you do some complicated modding (I wouldn't recommend messing with Base.rte) they don't.

I use the old school controls (back from build 8)

WADS H=shoot J=sharp K=inv L=jetpack YU=change actors

I switched player 1 and player 2's controls around. I think it is a lot easier using the num pad to play...

I used to be a mouse and keyboard guy myself, which I would rather use except the mouse causes aim to twitch sometimes. Once you get used to Keyboard again its just as fast and definitely more accurate.
