I'm not saying that we absolutely NEED a new moderator, I'm pretty much sayin what Alenth said; we can suggest it...strongly.
I know it isn't necessary to make topics like thist, but how else is it going to be brought to everyone's attention? A topic had to be made to get rid of all the spam-bots we had. If something isn't said, how can something be done?
And I was asking for ya'll's opinon. I never said you're decision would get that person into a moderator position. Of course it's Data's decision.

Oh, god, this is sad.
Really, REALLY sad.
I agree now, we should STRONGLY suggest a new mod.
Black, expect much sarcasm to proceed in your general direction in the next 15 minutes, and possibly longer.

I agree with your point, but the way you wrote the original post it was more decree than suggestion.

If there were different ranks of mods I would say make a few of us mini-mods that can only delete posts/topics or something like that and choose the best to be a full mod.

Yeah, that sounds good.
Hopefully this forum host can do that easily...

A little late with this, but someone can't be racist to something that isn't a race.
Seriously, it's really damn simple here.
Noobist (Noob, by the way, holds a more negative meaning then what it's derived from, Newbie) is 'negatively discriminating' against noobs.
That being said, the 'actual meaning' for noob is "One, new or not, that refuses to learn and continues to act like a newbie for long periods of time." or something along that line.

Regardless of what happened to him, there's only one way to make sure it doesn't come back. Get rid of him.

I'd warn him first, then ban him for two weeks.
Then ban him forever if he keeps it up... more fun playing around like that you see.

The forums I come from are all alike in the sense that if you ♥♥♥♥ up once, your ass is banned forever. So I'm a bit intolerant of such behaviour.
