i got a load of mods, and the latest build and all, but when i put them into the base.rte and cortex command folders they are meant to go into, they dont show up in game or work at all!

You don't put them in Base.rte, you place them in the main folder

could I see a Print Screen of the folders?

The folders with the .rtes are in the Cortex Command folder?

yes they are!

Did you even look at the pics, Thunder Toes? :D They answered both of your questions..
Ontopic: Hmm, everything's fine. Did you make the mod yourself? If so, did you create the index.ini?

No he did not make that mod, it's the Gravity Gun mod, I have it.

Razura, I've had this problem also, try making a new folder the same name (you'll have to change it slightly) then transfer the contents of the old folder to the new one, delete the now empty old folder then properly name the new folder and then try. The Wild West Gun pack did this to me, and I did that and it works. Also in past builds this worked also.

No they didn't, I'm wondering if he extracted the .rte folder from the .rar. the pictures show the .rars.

But the folders are visible too.. :/

Ah, I get it now. Thunder Toes is correct, except there IS one mod already installed. The AMAR.rte, but theres more than few .rte.rar files just setting there. Then need to be extracted and it looks like he doesn't have WinRAR.

Razura get WinRAR (google it) and then you can extract them, and only extract them in C:\Program Files\Data Realms\Cortex Command\ you don't need them in the Base.rte
