Post Re: B15 issues go here plx
Had to break my perfect (0) post count just to see if i couldnt help out with some of these crashes:

I currently have B15 installed on two computers, and one of them crashes, without fail (err, with heaps of fail), on line 128 of Effects.ini. The initial loader thing reads as follows:
...Index.ini on line 4 includes:
Effects.ini on line 128 includes:
Effects/Gibs/Gibs.ini - done! (Check)
Effects.ini on line 128
aaaand crash. It seems like the loader is somehow reading line 128 twice, causing Gibs.ini to to conflict with itself. On the other, working computer, the loader reads:
...Index.ini on line 4 includes:
Effects.ini on line 128 includes:
Effects/Gibs/Gibs.ini - done! (Check)
Effects.ini on line 129 includes:
aaaand it continues fine from there. The two computers are very different from one another, over 3 years different, and are unfortunately impossible to compare in order to determine the source of the error. I can only hope that someone smarter than me can figure this out so I don't have to play on the laggy laptop.

I did that with a clone.

Also, if you take the Skeleton placer outline thing and run it over the bottom of the map, the legs will be taken off and you can place legless skeletons around the map.

for the lulz

make a brain bunker underground
take a clone, do same thing (move to bottom of map so he losses all limbs)
and then spawn one in the brain buker
its real lulz
works with blue clone too
doesnt work with robots, they dont go lulz they just fall and rapidly lose hp

for even more lulz, do it out in the open

Yeah as many of you have noticed, there are some stability problems with this build. We made a lot of positive changes to the engine, but unfortunately this is a temporary consequence.

Don't worry, we're working on these things and will put out a new build with fixes soon.

So we can expect a updated B15?

Great, will there be fixed controller support?

I tried to play 2 Player with my Xbox 360 Wireless controller and my Xbox 360 Wired Controller, the control menu only lets me assign controls for one device.

I'm willing to bet Build 15a (or Build 16, whichever is next) is going to feature more in bug resolution than additional features.

i always prefer less bugs then more features
if the next build has one new feature (better ai) and 20 different bug fixes, then im happy

if i start a game and while in the editor i spawn and actor and a gun near him, then when i select him, he cant pick up the gun, the gun cant even be shot, smached, blown, anything
it just sits there

it happens with my tplc weapons, the default ones work fine

after a few minutes you and pick it

yeah, and thors sentry turrent weapons fall though the ground :/
not sure if all of them, but the laser does

The turret weapons are coded to do that.
