Hey, so I was scanning my computer and it says I have a "Trojan horse/I-worm" On this file called "Xpatch.exe" It's for a game called Gunz, you may have heard of it. I haven't played that game in a long long time, because when a new update came out it became Windows Vista incompatible completely. This never showed up before on the many virus scans I've done, so I ask, is it possible for a file to turn it's self into a virus after a certain amount of time, or can they turn into a virus without use with the file for a long period of time.

Hmm... I dunt know then, auto update set? Avg is best out there, but it won't catch everything. I use 3-4 avs at a time.

Yes I get updates EVERY day, I mean EVERY day, also, I have 3 different AVG things, I was considering getting some other types like ad-ware and stuff.

Worms can remain dormant for quite along time then... they strike!
