Halo 1 and Halo 2 had brilliant graphics for their time. And I have said this so many times it hurts just to say it again.

Graphics really dont make games better
Look at Oblivion, it has kickass graphics but the game itself sux, Morrowind pwns it
Graphics do matter though, you dont want to have a game like this with Nintendo 64 game graphics

Well. Yeah. Graphics don't make games better, but they can make it worse.


Like those games that go overboard on bloom.

But you also have those pwnage games that are win even with low graphics

2. Not always graphics can make games better. And game can be cool with umm... bad graphics.


3. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Is an epic game with incredible atmosphere. Awesome storyline and.. Ugh.. What to say. Millions of fans were awaiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. So nothing to ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.

Graphics don't affect anything other than gameplay and visual eye candy. If you want realism, you put all that fancy ♥♥♥♥ in a game. It slows things down if you have a weak PC, but in today's modern world they wont be accepted if they have poor texturing and no AA effects.

Also, Maxim Dude, don't go around making statements like that. Morrowind was a good game but claiming Oblivion was poor is just an idiotic statement. The critics agree that Oblivion deserved game of the year quite a few times. Along with a lot of other awards.

Also I don't see much unique in Stalker, and the screen shots are boring.

Oblivion may be good. But from what I've seen every game ever made got that award.

Plenty of games haven't. Mainly lowly games that no one pays attention to. The typical gamer only pays attention to popular games, the follow the crowd type. Game of the Year takes work and isn't handed out to every game right at release.

Oblivion sux cause of the extremely lowsy storyline... And character design...
All the characters looked too much like humans (Exept the reptile ones, and the cat ones (If there were any, I dont remember))

Monsters and all those looked good

Its not a game that completely sux, but the story is dissapointing

How can that be best storyline?
Come on! All you have to do is kill a bunch of guys, get some crystal, get some orb stone thing, get something from daedra, go pwn that person in his dimension thing, then you get to the imperial city, you pwn some more guys and then theres this huge guy that gets pwnt when the emperor person turns into a dragon... And then into a statue...
You can complete the main quest in 1~2 days, its not even challanging...

The best quests in Oblivion are the dark brotherhood ones
